The Mummy Jee Educational Charitable Trust also runs 3 projects for rural women’s empowerment around Bodhgaya.
Sewing Centre

The sewing centre was started in 2015 for 55 rural women. Currently they are 220 women following training in Sewing, so they can later open their own shop. Women graduate with a certificate after six Months. In total 1,139 women have graduated from the centre. Parwati Sewing Centre shop in Paraiya is as an example of a shop opened by one of the graduates.
Beautician Centre

The beautician centre was opened in 2023 in a free public building women follow a three Months course in makeup, bride decoration, Mehandi (Henna). In one year 1,364 women have graduated. You can visit the Muskan Beauty Parlour in Gurua operated by one of the graduate.






Computer Centre

The computer centre for women functioned between 2015 and 2023. More than 2000 women graduated. Some got jobs as secretaries with the Police, others became Computer teachers. The Centre closed due to lack of funds to buy new computers.
