Manjhi Festival Program 2023 on the eve of 16^th death anniversary of mountain man Baba Dasrath Manjhi and they gave a wonderful performance among the audience. Seeing their performance, thunderous applause started echoing through the audience and repeating once more once more.

To see their performance the Rural Development Minister Shri Srawan Kumar and the ex-chief minister of Bihar have awarded them and they also praised them for their wonderful performance.

A small story about Baba Dasrath Manjhi (The Mountain Man)

In between his struggle he has to face a lot of difficulties. During that time there was a famine in Bihar and people started evacuating the settlements. In the time of this grave calamity, he did not give up and kept on his tune. Even there was no water for drinking. But fortunately there was a well in his village but unfortunately it was dried. He still didn’t give up and started to dig inside it. And after continuously working hard he found water inside it. Like this he had to face many difficulties but he never gave up and did a great work for the welfare of the people.
