Holi is one of the most religious festivals of color for Hindu which is celebrated every year with zeal and enthusiasm in all over India on Full moon day of the Month of “Fagun” according to Hindu calendar. This festival is also celebrated in other countries by (Hindu) Indian People.
This festival is the symbol of Unity, Union and Joy.
On this day, it is tradition that the younger put color on the feet of elders to take blessings and the elders put back color on the forehead of the younger to give the blessings and then they embrace each other. This moment is emotional, as a beautiful symbol of love and respect. Nowadays, “Holi” has extended its wings of color over all kind of population with the meaning of colorful joy, friendship & entertainment.
The“Holi Milan Samaroh”is celebrated each year in almost everyfirms and companies few days before the holiday given for Holi festival.
The“Holi Milan Samaroh”was celebrated this year in our Trust with great joy and enthusiasm amongst the children &the guests who were presenton this auspicious day.“Pakaurii, puri, malpua” were specially served on that day, as per the custom.
On that day, we warmly welcomed a group of guests coming from other countries. It was their 1st time they could enjoy Holi, so they were very happy and excited to celebrate it with the children, with rays of colors flying to each other. A beautiful program with artists (Radha-Krishna) playing “Lord Krishna and Radha”scenesimpressed the public and were the top of enjoyment. Traditionally “Radha-Rani” is a famous show for Holi.
