House Burning in a poor family

Here is the helping intervention in a tragic event which happened to a very poor family of Dihuri, a rural underprivileged village of Bihar.

As It was very cold on that evening, they had lighted a wood fire to warm up, but as they went sleeping at night, their insalubrious house was set ablaze and was quickly and totally burnt, all reduced in ashes; So sadly, three members of the family perished in the fire, the few ones who could escape were totally chocked, crying, shivering… So terrible situation! These family members belong to a very low community and were already deprived of basic conveniences. It is a matter of big sorrow for them!

So, when we came to know about that tragedy, with strong empathy we decided to do all our best to relieve them kindly from their pain and helping them to survive in the next following days. When we reached there, we met the victims, consoled them in their tough times, and offered them food material (rice, flour& so on) for one month, blankets to be protected from cold, and a contribution of some money to help them to face their difficulties in the days to come.

During the meeting with the family victims, Mummy Jee assured them to provide every possible help in future to re-build their housing and proposed them to take their 2 children free of cost in our school to educate them.
